FBHS provides confidential professional assessment, therapeutic counseling services and medication evaluation and management for a variety of behavioral and emotional problems.
Marital and relationship counseling: family conflict, intimacy and sexual issues, anger management, divorce, step-families, LGBT issues, communication problems and premarital problems.
Children and adolescents: parent-child conflict, anger management, behavior problems, school adjustment, sexual identity problems, add/adhd, sensory processing disorder, single parent issues, adjustment to divorce, parenting programs.
Life adjustment: grief, infant loss, post-partum depression, chronic and terminal illness, separation and divorce, aging, spiritual issues, chronic illness, as well as career and work adjustment problems and mid-life issues.
Anxiety problems; fears, phobias, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorders, as well as obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Addiction:alcohol and drug: dependency and abuse treatment. (Pt encouraged to use 12 step approaches) sex, love, gambling, smoking, eating disorders.
Pet loss and bereavement counseling: grief, separation, loss of a service animal, lost or stolen pets, stress management for caregivers, terminal illness and the difficult decision of euthanasia.
Educational services: learning disabilities, language, school evaluations, career and personality evaluations.
Mood Disorder; including depression and bi-polar disorder
Abuse/Domestic Violence: Abuse can be physical, psychological, sexual or verbal.
Sports counseling: athletes, parents, and coaches. Education and training for sport performance enhancement, setting and achieving goals, controlling competition anxiety.
Crisis services are offered to businesses on an emergency basis. Emergencies include critical situations such as: Bank robberies, death of an employee, or adjusting to a major lay-off.
Employee assistance program; We provide assessment and referral services to employers who refer employees voluntarily or by mandatory referral.
