Bill Elwood is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned his B.A. in psychology from Ursuline college, and M.A. in counseling from John Carroll University and is a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. He has extensive experience with adolescent behavior problems as well as marriage and family related issues. He is Certified Master Addictions Counselor and is a Substance Abuse Professional. He also has specialized training in co-dependency treatment approaches. Mr. Elwood  has an interest in the function of faith and spirituality in the healing process. He is an Ordained Permanent Deacon for the Cleveland Catholic Diocese.

Linda Elwood is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and earned her B.A. in Psychology from Ursuline college and her Masters degree in counseling at John Carroll University. Ms. Elwood takes a family systems approach to treating relationship problems; family and parenting issues, depression and women’s issues. She also has had extensive experience with adolescent behavior problems, and adolescent community out-reach and intervention programs. She is also a former youth minister for the Cleveland Catholic Diocese and a recipient of the 1992 James P.O’Donnell Award for outstanding youth work.

Tom Gigliotti is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. He earned his Masters of Arts Degree from the University of Chicago in Social Work and  Family Studies. He has earned additional certificates in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  He is a member of the National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and The American Association of Behavioral Therapists.  Mr. Gigliotti’s career accomplishments include 16 years of clinical research and teaching at the University of Pittsburgh and Case Western Reserve University where he was responsible for clinical treatment of suicidal adolescents and postpartum depression patients enrolled in National Institute of Mental Health Studies.  In 1991, the University of Pittsburgh awarded him The Excellence in Social Work Award.  His clinical practice currently focuses on mood disorders in adolescents and adults, borderline personality disorders, trauma, and chemical dependency, smoking cessation and weight loss and age regression.

Dr. Peter G. Kontos is a graduate of John Carroll University and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He has practiced psychiatry in many different settings over the past 25 years including the Cleveland Clinic, Ravenwood Center of Geauga County and Coleman Professional Services of Summit County.   Dr. Kontos brings a wealth of experience to our practice as well as the benefit of a warm and caring professional dedicated to the practice of quality psychiatry.

Kathleen Casey Toohig, R.N.,LPCC

Kathleen Toohig earned her Masters degree at John Carroll University,her B.A. in psychology from Ursuline College, and a diploma of Nursing from St. John’s Hospital School of Nursing.  She has vast experience as a health care professional with over twenty-five years as a Registered Nurse. She is also a certified grief counselor, specializing in prenatal grief. Ms. Toohig specializes in working with family problems and promoting parent education.

Susan M. Marder, LPCC

Susan Marder is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in sociology at Brooklyn College and her Masters Degree at John Carroll University.  Ms. Marder’s diverse experience includes parent education, child behavior management, effective discipline techniques, and family issues. As coordinator of the Lake County Early Intervention Program through the Lake County General Health District she worked with parents of children who are medically fragile and/or developmentally delayed. For nearly ten years, Ms. Marder has worked as a family therapist with Bellefaire JCB where she provided in-home intensive counseling services to young children, adolescents and families.

Susan Kahan is a Clinical Resident who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Cleveland State University in 1998 and her Masters Degree at John Carroll University. Part of her training included working with women in need of learning and adopting coping techniques to overcome stressful internal and external factors at a well respected community health center.  Susan has also worked with a diverse group of people experiencing a variety of issues requiring counseling in such areas as grief, stress management, wellness, depression, anxiety and self-esteem.  Additionally, Susan is a certified sports counselor registered with the National Institute of Sports Counseling. Susan applies a holistic approach to working with her clients as she guides them through the process of making positive changes in their lives.  

Anne M. Van Wagoner, L.P.C.

Anne Van Wagoner is a Clinical Resident who earned her Bachelor of Arts from Eastern College and her Masters Degree at John Carroll University. She helps adults and children to identify their strengths and find practical strategies for improved problem solving and coping skills. Guided imagery and relaxation exercises, play therapy, journaling and bibliotherapy are tools she may use with clients.  She completed her internship at The Cleveland Clinic where she did outpatient therapy and led stress management groups with the chemically dependent. Anne is interested in parenting, grief/healing, including sexual abuse, working with the “sandwich generation” - individuals who parent children and care for elderly parents at the same time, fostering appreciation of life’s simplicities, and the mind/body connection.    

Kirsten DeLambo, Ph.D.  email: kdelambo@fbhsllc.com

Kirsten DeLambo is a Licensed Psychologist who earned her Ph.D. from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto, California.  Her background includes working with adults, adolescents and older children in the areas of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, substance abuse, and family issues.  She has recently worked at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Traumatic Stress.  Dr. DeLambo’s specialty is traumatic stress, which includes criminal victimization, history of childhood physical and sexual abuse, rape, domestic violence, war trauma, motor vehicle accidents, and severe medical conditions.  Dr. DeLambo also teaches at Cuyahoga Community College and is involved in research at Kent State University and Summa Health System.

Liz Osicki is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her B.A. in Psychology from Ohio State University and her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron.  Ms. Osicki takes a family systems approach to working with couples, individuals, children/adolescents, and families. Her previous experience includes working with children and adolescents with behavior and emotional problems, marriage and family relationship issues, and conducting group counseling programs for children.  Additionally, Liz has extensive experience providing career counseling to adults experiencing career issues and she is trained to administer and interpret several career exploration assessments.
