The abuse of opiates and heroin in our community has resulted in an epidemic. Helping a family member with abuse and dependency issues is often a struggle and painful experience for a spouse, partner or family member.
Drug addiction is a disease that affects the entire family. Families need support and care to help understand this disease and how to manage it.

Group facilitator: David J. Riccardi, LPCC, LICDC-CS, NCC
David has worked with recovering clients and families for 33 years. He has instructed at Cuyahoga Community College in Psychology. Mr. Riccardi has worked as both an inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency counselor in the Cleveland area. He has presented in the community on opiate dependence, depression, and clinical ethics.
